You’re probably familiar with the Fairtrade blue, green and black symbolic logo across some food packaging’s in your local grocery store – but you might not be fully aware of who they are. Fairtrade, represented by the Fairtrade Foundation are not-for-profit organisation based in the UK. With a goal to help food and drink producers all over the world live and work in better conditions, a percentage of all profits made from Fairtrade food and drink produce is returned to the farmers. By purchasing Fairtrade products, you are helping to improve the living and working conditions of families in developing countries, promoting sustainable farming.
